Shitter Art - Collection no. 1
In the age of AI, crappy art can prevail uninterrupted

#1 - this first Shitter was created circa 2023. It has no single title but instead many names I gave the different faces: Jochebed, Tom, Yochai, Seashell, Dybbuk and more.
Roughly a year after moving to the U.S. I was absolutely shocked by the sheer amount of garbage that would find its way into our mailbox every month. The faces of the odd, forcibly happy humans - decorated pamphlets for dental practices, community centers and taxi services.
Who are these for, in a world where Instagram ads exist?
What I found most fascinating overall about spam was how each of these humans seemed genuinely-disingenuously - smiling; And how instead of the intended I-should-check-this-out reaction that was expected of me - I would find them fucking hilarious.
From this point on - my only rule around Shitters is that they have to be composed of a single source of spam. This would force me to find ways to deal with limited resources to create my collages, and in my opinion - make them better.

#2 - "Hatching". Both these folks seem happy. Like a big proud mamma goose and her tiny emerging bearded man.
Just like #1, this was raw-dog stuck to our fridge with a magnet for a while, until I decided it deserved to get glued to a piece of cardboard. You can see how ragged it has become - an analogy to the deterioration of western society.
Just kidding it's probably our cat or something.
This continued to evolve into other, more "intentional" Shitters like the next ones:

#3 - is comprised of two sides of the same piece of cardboard, all from the same piece of spam. The father at the top image is waving intensely at the child king, perhaps in an attempt to get in his good grace and avoid a bitter sentence. Or not.
Hope you had as much fun seeing this nonsense as I had creating it. If you're interested in more crap like this, make sure to subscribe - I do have additional ones coming up!
